Acceptable use

Acceptable Use Policy.

The rules for using Trace and CreatorSense: who may use it, what you may upload, how to treat fans, and how to use evidence.

Treat fans fairlyTerms of Service
  • Last updated: 1 November 2026
  • Version: 1.0

At a glance

Simple rules, strictly applied.

18+ only

Adults only, and never content involving anyone under 18.

Your content only

Only content you own or have rights and consent to use. No non-consensual imagery.

No doxing

Never use a result to harass or expose a fan. A match is not proof of who shared a file.

Leave the marks alone

No reverse-engineering, removing or forging marks, and no attacks on the service.

In full

Eight sections, in plain English.

Sections

  1. 1. Who this applies to
  2. 2. Adults only
  3. 3. Only content you have the right to use
  4. 4. Treat fans fairly
  5. 5. Use evidence lawfully
  6. 6. Do not attack the marks or the service
  7. 7. Platforms and the law
  8. 8. What happens if this policy is broken

1. Who this applies to

This policy applies to everyone who uses CreatorSense, including Trace, the app, the API, the MCP connector and the Chrome extensions, and to every member of an agency team. It forms part of the Terms of Service. CreatorSense, a business name of Matt Orchard (sole trader), ABN 65 815 285 275, Sydney NSW, Australia may update it; the date above shows the current version.

2. Adults only

  • You must be 18 or older to use CreatorSense.
  • Never upload, mark, deliver or submit for a leak check any content that shows, or appears to show, a person under 18 in a sexual or sexualised way. We remove it, close the account and report it to the authorities.
  • Everyone who appears in sexual or intimate content you upload must have been 18 or older when it was made. Keep records that show it; we may ask for them.

3. Only content you have the right to use

  • Only upload content you own, or that you have every licence and permission needed to have it marked, stored and delivered.
  • Never upload non-consensual intimate imagery: intimate or sexual images or video of anyone who has not given clear, current consent to it being made and distributed this way. This includes hidden-camera material, "revenge" material and synthetic or AI-made intimate imagery of a real person without their consent.
  • Agencies must have written authority from each creator they manage before uploading that creator's content or adding that creator's fans.
  • If you submit a leaked copy for a check, it must be a copy of content you own or manage. Do not use Trace to check other people's content.

4. Treat fans fairly

A Trace match shows which account a leaked copy was delivered to. It does not prove who shared it. So:

  • Do not use Trace or its results to harass, threaten, shame, extort or stalk anyone.
  • Do not publish, post or share a fan's handle, real name, location, IP address or other details as "the leaker" (doxing), and do not encourage others to target them.
  • Do not treat a match as proof of guilt, and never treat a no-match result as proof of anything.
  • Only add fans' details you are allowed to use, and only for delivering and protecting your own content.
  • Do not try to find out a fan's real identity from Trace data beyond what you already hold lawfully.

5. Use evidence lawfully

  • Use evidence packs only for lawful purposes: your own review, a report to a platform, a takedown notice you send yourself, advice from your lawyer, or a report to the police.
  • Do not alter an evidence pack or present it as something it is not. Evidence packs are records to support a review; they are not legal findings.
  • Follow the law where you and the fan are, including privacy, defamation and consumer laws.

6. Do not attack the marks or the service

  • Do not try to reverse-engineer, detect, remove, weaken, copy or forge Trace marks, or help anyone else do so, except as part of a security report under our responsible disclosure process.
  • Do not try to make a copy match someone who did not receive it (for example by marking one recipient's copy and sending it to another).
  • Do not probe, scan, load-test or penetration-test CreatorSense without our written permission.
  • Do not get around rate limits, allowances, trial limits or access controls, share accounts outside your team, or access another user's data.
  • Do not upload malware or use the service to send spam.
  • Do not use the API or MCP connector to build a competing product or resell access.

7. Platforms and the law

Follow the rules of the platforms you sell on and the laws that apply to you. CreatorSense is not affiliated with any platform, and using Trace does not change what a platform allows.

8. What happens if this policy is broken

We may remove content, pause marking, revoke API keys, suspend or close the account, and report illegal activity to the authorities. Where it is safe and reasonable, we tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. Serious breaches (anything involving minors or non-consensual imagery) are acted on straight away.

Report a breach. Email info@creatorsenseai.com with the subject "Abuse report" and what you saw. If you believe your intimate images are being misused through CreatorSense, tell us and we will act quickly. In Australia you can also report image-based abuse to the eSafety Commissioner at esafety.gov.au.
